Abstract

Over the last years, non-profit organisations carrying out sport activities have progressively gained importance. Not only are they capable of performing a range of activities for the benefit of young people and local communities. They also serve as preferred partners of public authorities in managing sport centres and facilities. To this end, the Italian law allows for some specific partnership agreements, whereby city councils can choose non-profit organisations to entrust them with the carrying out of activities of general interest. The article analyses the different partnership agreements between non-profit organisations and public authorities according to the latest law reforms.
