Abstract

The article deals with the issue of the negotiation of sports conflicts through the use of mediation. The article describes some of the main application experiences at an international level, including the Arbitral Tribunal of Sport and the initiatives launched by the various Spanish autonomous regions, which show an ever-increasing interest in the study and application of the mediation procedure, both as a tool for settling disputes, and as an instrument that brings positive values in team sports, especially in the football field.
